Extension and reconfiguration of existing warehouse space to create a conference suite and large open plan office area. The company are currently using external conferencing facilities so the addition of this facility will allow them to save a substantial amount of money, whilst also providing additional office space.

The small, single storey extension is to the rear of the head office building and will house new male and female toilet facilities, replacing those that will be removed during the reconfiguration of the warehouse space.

The existing space has become available following the recent completion of a new distribution warehouse, also constructed by Baggaley Construction.

An extremely challenging programme of works is being adhered to with everything being undertaken to a very high specification and standard.

The project involves working on a live site as the adjoining offices will remain occupied; therefore, the build site will be completely segregated. Regular meetings with the client will ensure that everyone is kept fully informed of works on site as the project progresses, in particular any noisy activities. Timed deliveries will also be utilised where possible to minimise any disruption.

The client’s original intention had been to undertake a new build project however, after reviewing their vacant premises, Baggaley were able to advise on a more economical refurbishment and extension solution. This proved more suitable for their budget and timescales.
