History
Founded in 1908 by the grandfather of the current Chairman, Howard Baggaley, Baggaley is one of Mansfield 's oldest companies. As an integral part of the local business community Baggaley soon established an excellent reputation as a good family firm specialising in minor works.
When the company moved to Baums Lane in 1927 the business expanded with the opening of a joinery workshop, which provided bespoke joinery using traditional craftsmanship, employing local tradesmen. The building side of the business grew following the move and went from strength to strength. Many notable landmarks throughout the East Midlands can be attributed to Baggaley.
Today Baggaley has become one of the region's leading construction companies with an enviable reputation for craftsmanship, quality and steadfast commitment to deliver projects on time and on budget. The traditional family values that helped to establish the business 100 years ago, still remain today but with a modern approach, and a culture geared towards clients rather than just projects.
In June 2006 Baggaley moved to state-of-the-art new premises in Melton Way , Mansfield , signifying the next stage of growth for the company - with turnover set to reach more than £50million at the end of this financial year.
