Mr Stewart Tilley
Chairman
Started work as trainee surveyor with a national company and held senior positions within three major UK contracting companies. Stewart joined Baggaley Construction as a Non-executive Director in 2007, taking over from Howard Baggaley as Chairman in 2008.
Has been a Member of the CITB and chaired the Grant Scheme Working Party; Chairman of the NCF and also Chairman of the RICS West Midlands Division.
Stewart is now taking an active part in the development and expansion of Baggaley Construction by helping the Board in their mission to deliver total satisfaction to their customers.

Mr Phil Askin
Managing Director
Phil joined Baggaley in 2011 as Commercial Director and in January 2012 succeeded Ian Baggaley as Managing Director. He has brought with him a wealth of skills and experience and benefits from over 25 years of experience in the industry across a number of notable companies including Wates and John Laing.
Phil is in charge of all commercial functions including quantity surveying, risk management and supply chain management. He is responsible for further developing the company’s commercial operations and oversees the Projects division in particular.
Mr Barry Dalby
Construction Director
Barry started his career as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a national contractor and progressed to Group Quantity Surveyor. He chose to change his career path and was given the opportunity to progress from Site Manager to Senior Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
He joined Baggaley Construction in 2004 as Head of Construction. In 2006, he was promoted to Construction Director, responsible for overseeing the operations of our Project Teams and monitoring and measuring their performance to ensure we are giving our Clients the required level of service performance.

Mr Mark Illingworth
Finance Director/ Company Secretary
Mark joined Baggaley in 2007 after a wide and varied career in accountancy in both professional practice and industry and has held the role of Finance Director for a major national contractor for a period spanning 16 years; seeing them grow from £80 million to over £450 million during that period.
He is responsible for ensuring the financial strength of the company, oversees the operations of key teams within the company, and in 2008, also took on the important role of Company Secretary.
Mr Ian Baggaley
Group Chairman
Ian has worked for Baggaley for 20 years, initially working in all departments as part of the companies Management Training Programme, whilst continuing his academic studies and gaining a BSc Hons in Construction in 1996.
He has been Contracts Director, Design and Developments Director, Pre-Construction Director, and became MD in 2006.
Ian is highly dedicated to the continued growth of Baggaley, and sees the imminent challenges as being in the key areas of continuing our Culture Change, raising the profile of the business further and continuing to develop our people in order to provide the most cost effective and professional service to our Clients.
Mr Howard Baggaley OBE
Baggaley Group Preident
Howard is the grandson of the company's founder, and has worked at Baggaley for over 50 years coming through the ranks to become a director in 1966, and then Chairman in 1970. In 2008 he took a step back from the Construction side of the business, but remains as Baggaley Group President.
Howard was a national Board Member of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), and served as Chairman of the Construction Apprenticeship Scheme Management Committee.
He has led Baggaley to the forefront of the construction industry within the Midlands and Yorkshire and is highly motivated towards the development of both his own staff and the construction industry generally.
